Kendall Schara returns to volleyball after leukemia recovery

Kendall Schara, a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, continues her volleyball career after overcoming acute myeloid leukemia, diagnosed in April 2025. Following a successful stem cell transplant from her sister, Schara's determination enabled her to reach remission by April 2026. She made her collegiate debut by playing 45 sets in her freshman season, showcasing her talents as an undersized yet impactful player.
