Kenna Wollard returns to Purdue volleyball sidelines amid ongoing health issue

Kenna Wollard, an All-American outside hitter for Purdue volleyball, returned to the sideline during the team's match against No. 6 Wisconsin on September 27, 2026. Although Purdue lost that match in straight sets, her presence uplifted the team. Coach Dave Shondell noted that Wollard is traveling with the team to Oregon and Washington in early October but does not expect her to compete this season due to her health issues, which she has not fully disclosed. She had previously joined the team for a match against Georgia earlier in the month but left before the end of the game.
