Klein dedicated 39 years to the university, logging 1,309 consecutive men's basketball games and witnessed multiple national championships. Klein's family confirmed his death after he had been hospitalized following a serious health issue. He leaves behind his wife, Donna, and their two sons, Alex and Brady, among other family members.
