Kenny Omega hints at heel turn ahead of AEW's All In pay-per-view

Lead Rumor: Kenny Omega heel turn If you were wondering why Kenny Omega would turn heel in the lead up to AEW’s All In pay-per-view, Dave Meltzer had the answer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Apparently, it was “The Cleaner’s” idea all along. The thinking, it seems, is that Omega feels it’s the right thing to do for the main event match. The expectation here is that this will be Will Ospreay’s crowning moment in AEW, and Omega wants to give him a match that will “stand the test of time.” Working heel while Ospreay is the mega over babyface in Wembley is going to help ensure that happens. We know they can both deliver in the biggest moments, and this gives Omega a way to put Ospreay over in the biggest way possible. If they want it to be legacy defining for the both of them, this is certainly one way to help that. That third women’s match at All In we mentioned a couple days could be a ladder match. Those are the dots some are connecting after Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that he “thought that they were doing a multi-person ladder match” which he’s thinking is “probably going to be announced on Collision.“ With the time limit Tony Khan talked about, we’re thinking that would be added to the pre-show. Bryan Alvarez claims Mustafa Ali punctured his lung on a random bump in the match, not the high cross spot off the top of the cage. Joe Gacy told Denise Salcedo that at one point The Wyatt Sicks were scheduled to do something physical with Tony Hinchcliffe at his Kill Tony WrestleMania special but it was changed at the last minute.
