What they're saying

Kenny Omega has been slow to recover since losing the world title bout against MJF at Dynasty in April. Prior to AEW Collision airing on Saturday night (June 13, 2026), Omega’s only action in that span was the Stadium Stampede at Double or Nothing in May. We’ve seen scenes of Omega chatting with Will Ospreay about how his confidence is faltering at this age to become world champion again. Omega seemed stumped on how to reclaim former glory. Well, it looks like Omega has the answer now thanks to a present from Zack Sabre Jr. Omega will wrestle Sabre at Forbidden Door after the technician issued the challenge. On Collision, Omega was in action against Bad Dude Tito, who is a teammate of Sabre in The Mighty Don’t Kneel faction for NJPW. A V-Trigger and the One-Winged Angel earned the win for Omega. He was unsure how to climb back to the top, then a pretty package was delivered to his doorstep courtesy of Sabre. That challenge for Forbidden Door is the motivation Omega needs to push himself to be the best again. Beating Sabre will take Omega to an elite level. Omega also shouted out to MJF that it’s only a matter of time until they meet again in the ring. "Zack, I'll see you at #ForbiddenDoor. @The_MJF, it's only a matter of time." If the dominoes fall into place for the rosy story, Omega will beat Sabre at Forbidden Door, beat MJF in a rematch for the world title at the newly named Redemption PPV, then advance to defend the crown against Ospreay at All In in Wembley Stadium. This promo sets the foundation for that run. Of course, it could just as easily go up in smoke. Defeating Sabre is no easy task. Omega could fall and go deeper into introspection about what could be his last gasp for elite success. Share your reaction to Kenny Omega’s promo on AEW Collision. How to do you think his journey plays out over the next few months?
