Kent State tight end Terik Mulder has been included on the John Mackey Award preseason watch list for the 2026 college football season. The award recognizes the most outstanding tight end in the nation, and Mulder is among only two players from the Mid-American Conference to receive this honor, alongside Eastern Michigan's Joshua Long. Last season, Mulder recorded 19 receptions for 198 yards and achieved four touchdowns across four games. The midseason watch list, finalists, and eventual winner will be announced later this year.
