Kentavius Street emerges as primary replacement for departed defensive tackle Gervon Dexter

The Chicago Bears are adjusting their defensive rotation following the trade of defensive tackle Gervon Dexter to the Atlanta Falcons. In exchange for the former second-round draft selection, the Bears acquired cornerback Clark Phillips III and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick. Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen identified veteran defensive tackle Kentavius Street as the leading candidate to assume a larger role along the defensive front.
