Kentucky hosts five-star center Lewis Uvwo for weekend recruiting visit

Kentucky basketball is hosting five-star center Lewis Uvwo for an official campus visit this weekend. Uvwo, a 6'11" recruit in the 2027 class, arrived in Lexington on Friday to tour school facilities. The visit includes an appearance at the Kentucky versus Alabama football game on Saturday. Mark Pope and the Wildcats staff are targeting Uvwo to bolster their future frontcourt depth. The center is recognized for his defensive contributions, having averaged 4.5 blocks per game on the Nike EYBL circuit and 6 blocks per game at Peach Jam. Kentucky remains focused on recruiting efforts for the 2027 class following the commitments of Ryan Hampton.
