Kentucky reaches final six for 2027 guard Chase Lumpkin

Kentucky basketball has secured a spot in the final list of schools for 2027 four-star guard Chase Lumpkin. The 6'3", 190 lb combo guard from Georgia has narrowed down his options to Kentucky, Arkansas, Southern California, Alabama, Michigan, and Louisville. Lumpkin is currently ranked as the No. 26 player in the 2027 class by 247Sports and averaged over 17 points per game this summer on the EYBL circuit. He possesses skills as both a scorer and a passer, alongside potential for growth in his defense. Kentucky aims to add Lumpkin to its 2027 recruiting class, which already includes five-star wing Ryan Hampton.
