Kentucky tackle Lance Heard named to Outland Trophy watch list

Kentucky offensive lineman Lance Heard has been added to the Outland Trophy watch list, recognizing the top interior linemen in college football. Heard, a former Tennessee Volunteers player, transferred to Kentucky for his senior season and is expected to play a key role in their rebuilt offensive line. He was also named a second-team All-SEC tackle by the media. Last season's winner was Spencer Fano from Utah. Kentucky's only winner of the Outland Trophy was Bob Gain in 1950.
