Kentucky volleyball defeats Penn State in front of 43,067 at Wrigley Field

The match took place at Wrigley Field in Chicago, drawing a sellout crowd of 43,067. The Wildcats won the first two sets 25-23 and 25-21 before dropping the third set 23-25. Conditions were challenging as wind and condensation on the court impacted gameplay throughout the evening. A subsequent match between Nebraska and Missouri was eventually suspended due to weather conditions after Nebraska held an 11-7 lead in the first set. Kentucky head coach Craig Skinner praised his team's mental fortitude while noting the significant growth and visibility of women's college volleyball.
