Kentucky Wildcats pursue international player Nikola Kusturica for roster spot

The Kentucky Wildcats are actively recruiting Serbian forward Nikola Kusturica to fill their final roster spot for the 2026-27 season. Currently playing for FC Barcelona in Spain's Liga ACB and Euroleague, Kusturica is considering multiple programs, including Gonzaga and North Carolina. He has averaged 11 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal per game in international play. Kusturica was a key contributor in Barcelona's Adidas NextGen Finals championship win, posting 20 points and 10 rebounds in the final. He is also considering returning to Barcelona but is working on eligibility for college basketball this season. A decision regarding his future is expected soon.
