Kevin Durant is preparing for his age-38 season in the NBA while addressing long-term questions regarding his playing career. The veteran forward currently has two years remaining on his contract, which includes a player option for the second season. Durant stated during an interview with Boardroom that he remains committed to playing basketball despite acknowledging the physical challenges associated with his age. He previously secured back-to-back championships and NBA Finals MVP honors with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018. Since that time, Durant has played for Brooklyn, Phoenix, and Houston. He indicated that he intends to take his career season by season as he moves forward with the Houston franchise.
