Kevin Garnett critiques Jaylen Brown's trade from Celtics to Sixers

Summary

Kevin Garnett, a Boston Celtics legend, expressed his disappointment regarding the recent trade of Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics made the surprising move, sending Brown to Philadelphia in exchange for Paul George, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks. Garnett voiced a preference for Brown to retire as a Celtic, highlighting the strong partnership he had with Jayson Tatum. The trade follows Brown's successful season and finals MVP performance in 2024, as he joins a talented Sixers roster. The implications of this trade for both teams are still unfolding, particularly how Brown will fit alongside Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid.
