This assessment follows a season in which McGonigle has maintained a.274 batting average, 14 home runs, and 58 RBIs. His contributions include a 6.0 bWAR, a.789 OPS, and defensive proficiency on the left side of the infield. While other rookies such as Munetaka Murakami, Parker Messick, and Chase DeLauter also received votes, they trailed significantly behind the Tigers player.
