Kevin Nash describes early WWE tenure as financially difficult

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently reflected on his initial stint with the company on his Kliq This podcast. Nash described his first year in the organization as a rough period, citing low compensation during his time as an enforcer for Shawn Michaels. Although he held the Intercontinental Championship and performed near the top of the card as Diesel, he stated that his pay grade remained tied to a manager’s salary. Shawn Michaels previously credited their partnership for helping him transition out of the mid-card scene and reach the main event. The two wrestlers maintained a close relationship during their early careers, which Michaels noted was strengthened by the time they spent getting into trouble together.
