Kevin Pangos has announced his retirement from basketball via Instagram at age 33. The former point guard, recognized for his contributions to European basketball, had a successful career both in Europe and briefly in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pangos was a standout player at Gonzaga, earning multiple All-West Coast Conference honors and recognition as the 2014-15 West Coast Conference Player of the Year. He plans to join the coaching staff of the Arizona Wildcats as an assistant, replacing Ken Nakagawa, who is moving to the G League.
