Summary

In a Class AA state softball tournament match on June 3 at Little Creek Park, No. 5 Keyser scored a walk-off victory over No. 6 PikeView, winning 4-3. Brielle Root's RBI double drove in Bibs Felton in the bottom of the seventh inning. PikeView had taken a 3-2 lead in the third after a single from Bella Delida and a passed ball. The loss ends PikeView’s season at 23-9 and marked their first appearance in the state tournament. Keyser reliever Leighton Johnson allowed only one hit over the final 3 1/3 innings.
