Keyshawn Hall files eligibility lawsuit against NCAA in New York

Keyshawn Hall, a fifth-year forward for St. John's, has moved his eligibility lawsuit against the NCAA to New York’s Queens Supreme Court. Hall is seeking a ruling before the start of preseason play on October 14. His case centers on the NCAA’s application of the new five-in-five eligibility model, claiming it has not been fairly applied to him as a 19-year-old initial enrollee. His previous emergency motion in Ohio was denied, maintaining his current ineligibility. Three other St. John's newcomers also await eligibility rulings.
