Khaleel Ahmed responds to IPL 2027 trade rumors amid Ashwin's comments
Summary

Khaleel Ahmed has addressed speculation regarding his future with Chennai Super Kings through an Instagram post, wearing a 'CSK for life' t-shirt. This follows comments from R Ashwin, who suggested that Khaleel had previously sought a release from the franchise. The IPL 2027 trade chatter intensified, particularly around a potential swap involving Hardik Pandya. While Khaleel's post indicates loyalty to CSK, the franchise's strategy may ultimately dictate his fate, especially after a disappointing IPL 2026 season that was marred by injury.
