Kingsbridge Rugby Club expands to enhance inclusivity for all players

Kingsbridge Rugby Club in Devon has undergone a significant expansion, adding new changing rooms and a function space. This project allows men's, women's, and youth games to run concurrently for the first time. Supported by a £75,000 pledge from South Hams District Council and £200,000 from the Rugby Football Union, the improvements aim to facilitate the club's continued growth and enhance participation across all demographics. Councillor Vic Abbott emphasized the importance of sport for mental and physical wellbeing, while RFU women's game director Alex Teasdale noted the initiative's focus on breaking down barriers for women and girls in rugby.
