Kirsty Hanson joins Tottenham from Aston Villa ahead of WSL season

Kirsty Hanson has transferred from Aston Villa to Tottenham, marking a significant move ahead of the Women's Super League season starting September 6. The 28-year-old striker, who was the third-highest goalscorer in the league last season with 12 goals, expressed enthusiasm about joining an ambitious Spurs side. She previously played a key role for Aston Villa over four years and has now been targeted by manager Martin Ho, under whom she hopes to further develop her game. Hanson's recruitment is part of Tottenham's strategy to break into the league's top three and qualify for the Women's Champions League.
