Kjell Wätjen transfers to FC Midtjylland from Borussia Dortmund

Kjell Wätjen has joined FC Midtjylland after a career at Borussia Dortmund. The 20-year-old spent his youth years at Dortmund and made his professional debut in May 2024, contributing one assist in four Bundesliga appearances. Last season, he was loaned to VfL Bochum, where he scored two goals in 29 matches. At Midtjylland, Wätjen will reunite with his former U19 coach, Mike Tullberg.
