Kjerstad reaches base four times as Tides lose to Sounds

Heston Kjerstad recorded a triple and reached base in all four plate appearances in the Norfolk Tides' loss to the Nashville Sounds, 7-0. The Tides managed only two singles from Bryan Ramos and José Barrero. Starter Juaron Watts-Brown struggled, failing to complete three innings and surrendering a two-run homer. In Double-A action, Anthony Eyanson delivered a strong outing for the Chesapeake Baysox, pitching seven innings while allowing one run in their 2-0 loss to the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Eyanson's strong performance resulted in his first loss at Double-A. The High-A matchup between the Frederick Keys and Wilmington Blue Rocks was postponed due to wet grounds, while the Low-A game saw the Hickory Crawdads defeat the Delmarva Shorebirds, 7-4.
