Knicks aim for 2-0 lead against Spurs in NBA Finals Game 2

The New York Knicks are now just two victories away from ending a 53-year championship drought. The win was New York’s 13th consecutive victory and gave the franchise a commanding 2-0 series lead as the Finals shift to Madison Square Garden. New York appeared in control for much of the second half, building a 14-point fourth-quarter lead behind the stellar play of Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson.

The All-NBA guard sank the go-ahead free throw with 9.5 seconds remaining after a costly turnover by Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.
