Knicks consider trades to keep both Wiseman and Brown on roster

The New York Knicks are evaluating options to retain both James Wiseman and Bruce Brown as their roster solidifies ahead of the regular season. With Wiseman likely to secure a spot, the Knicks face a dilemma due to salary cap restrictions that limit them to keeping only one player under the second apron. To accommodate both, New York may need to trade a player on a standard contract without acquiring salary in return. Coach Mike Brown expressed confidence in both players, highlighting Brown's experience and Wiseman's potential. The Knicks are exploring trades involving players like Pacome Dadiet and Tyler Kolek, as well as considering using their numerous second-round picks as leverage in negotiations.
