Knicks prepare for Finals test against Spurs after playoff success

Summary

The Knicks will face the Spurs in Game 1 of the NBA Finals this week. Despite strong first-quarter performances throughout the playoffs, including an 11-game winning streak, the Knicks have struggled with slow starts, trailing by 22 points against the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Spurs, strong in first-quarter playoff games, look to exploit this weakness. The Knicks are focusing on maintaining their competitive edge during the eight-day break before the Finals.
