Kohyn Eshkawkogan commits to Penn State hockey for 2027 class

Kohyn Eshkawkogan has pledged his commitment to Penn State hockey as part of the 2027 recruitment class. The Ottawa 67's defenseman recorded 53 points in 68 games during the 2025-26 OHL season, ranking 8th among all OHL defensemen. Eshkawkogan has accumulated a total of 73 points over his first two OHL seasons. As he turns 18 this November, he will be eligible for the 2027 NHL Entry Draft, where he is projected to be selected in the late first to early second round. His strong offensive skills, particularly on the power play, may make him an asset for Penn State next season.
