Kollin Magee wins Times Athlete of the Week poll in football

Logansport quarterback Kollin Magee has been named the Shreveport Times Athlete of the Week after receiving 83 percent of the votes in the online poll. He collected 5,571 votes out of a total of 6,945, outperforming Braxxton Black of Parkway, who finished with 797 votes. Magee's recognition is attributed to his strong performance in a recent game where he completed 6-of-8 passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns in a 62-0 victory over Delta Charter. Magee has guided Logansport to a 4-0 start this season. He will receive prizes including a backpack and a boxed lunch from Raising Cane’s.
