Kon Knueppel watches Wisconsin play Notre Dame during opening college football week

Former Duke basketball player Kon Knueppel attended the Wisconsin game against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field during the opening week of the college football season. The Wisconsin native supported the Badgers during the matchup. Knueppel met with Charlotte Hornets teammate Pat Connaughton, who is a former Notre Dame athlete. The Fighting Irish defeated the Badgers 41-13 at the neutral site venue. Duke also played over the holiday weekend, recording a 17-3 victory over the Tulane Green Wave. Sion James, another former Duke basketball player, attended that game.
