Kranti Gaud fined after Women's Asia Cup final incident

India pacer Kranti Gaud has been fined 10 percent of her match fee for a breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the Women's Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka. Gaud admitted to using gestures that could provoke an aggressive reaction after dismissing Sri Lanka's Imesha Dulani. This incident occurred in the first over of the match. As part of the sanction, one demerit point has been added to her record, marking her first offence in 24 months. The decision was finalized without a formal hearing as Gaud accepted the sanction from match referee Supriya Rani Das.
