Kris Meeke is in the lead at the Donegal International Rally following the first day of competition. The five-time World Rally Championship winner has an 11.8-second advantage over three-time winner Callum Devine after six stages, with Josh McErlean in third, 23.4 seconds off the pace. Meeke started strong, winning the first two wet stages, but Devine narrowed the gap in later stages. The rally continues on Saturday with eight additional stages scheduled, including two runs over the iconic Knockalla.
