Kris Srikkanth criticizes Gautam Gambhir for dropping Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

Former India captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth criticized head coach Gautam Gambhir for dropping Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after he scored 14, 13, and 15 in his first three T20I innings during the England series. Sooryavanshi returned to form with a record 18-ball fifty against Zimbabwe, becoming the youngest T20I half-century scorer. Srikkanth praised Sooryavanshi's fearless batting style and work ethic, emphasizing the negative impact of dropping a young player after a few failures. Gautam Gambhir is not part of the Zimbabwe tour, with VVS Laxman taking over as head coach.
