Kuroda-Grauer returns as Muncy lands on the IL for Athletics

The Athletics activated infielder Joshua Kuroda-Grauer ahead of their game against the Angels on September 23, after he completed a rehab assignment. Kuroda-Grauer's return comes following a July injury that sidelined him for several weeks. In a corresponding move, the A's placed Max Muncy on the 10-day injured list with left knee chondromalacia, ending his season. Muncy had struggled with the injury for a month despite trying to play through it. A re-evaluation of his knee is anticipated soon, either this week or after the season concludes.
