KV Mechelen has signed 24-year-old Cameroonian winger Simion Michez from Slavia Prague. Michez returns to Belgium after struggling to find success in Prague. Having begun his career in the Anderlecht academy, Michez moved to Beerschot in 2023, where he scored eight goals in 37 appearances before joining Slavia Prague. His contract with KV Mechelen extends until 2029 as the club seeks to improve its performance in the Belgian Pro League.
