Kyle Busch’s No. 18 car will stay parked without another Busch driver

Joe Gibbs Racing confirmed that Kyle Busch's iconic No. 18 car will not race again unless another Busch drives it. Heather Gibbs stated that the number is sacred and will remain unused unless Kyle's son, Brexton, decides to race it. The No. 18 has not been featured since Busch's last run with JGR in 2022. Brexton currently uses the No. 18 in his racing appearances, including Legends car races. The team also clarified that Busch's No. 8 at Richard Childress Racing will be similarly reserved for Brexton until he is ready for NASCAR competition.
