Kyle Trask to work out for Panthers as team seeks quarterback options
Summary

Kyle Trask is set to work out for the Carolina Panthers. This comes after the team's General Manager, Dan Morgan, expressed that they had "no plans" to pursue another quarterback following Will Grier's retirement. Trask, drafted in the second round in 2021, was recently released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent part of last season on the practice squad with the Falcons. The workout is significant as Trask has experience with Panthers head coach Dave Canales, who was the Buccaneers' offensive coordinator. Currently, the Panthers have Kenny Pickett and Haynes King as quarterback options behind Bryce Young.
