Kyle Tucker reflects on expectations for Dodgers before MLB playoffs

Kyle Tucker of the Los Angeles Dodgers shared his thoughts with The Athletic regarding the team's goals ahead of the MLB playoffs. As the second seed in the National League, the Dodgers have secured a spot in the National League Division Series without participating in the Wild Card Series. Tucker acknowledged the pressure following a challenging season, stating, 'The expectation of the fanbase and of ourselves is to get to the playoffs and win a World Series.' He signed a record-breaking four-year, $240 million contract prior to this season, but his performance has been underwhelming with a.233 average and 17 home runs. The Dodgers will face the winner of the Wild Card Series, currently led by the San Diego Padres, who are one win away from advancing.
