Kyle Verreynne leaves Nottinghamshire for South Africa international duty

Nottinghamshire will finish the County Championship season without wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne following his international recall by South Africa. The 29-year-old was originally slated to play all of the team's matches this summer but must return home for upcoming series against Australia. His departure creates a vacancy for the final three Championship fixtures against Hampshire, Sussex, and Yorkshire. Nottinghamshire currently sits second in the table, trailing leaders Somerset by four points and holding a one-point advantage over Warwickshire. Director of cricket Mick Newell confirmed the club is working to secure a replacement for the remainder of the campaign. Verreynne recorded 368 runs, 32 catches, and a stumping during his 10 appearances for the side this season.
