Kylian Mbappé scores as Real Madrid leads Inter in Champions League

Real Madrid leads Inter during their Champions League match after a productive first half in the home opener for manager José Mourinho. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 14th minute after capitalizing on a defensive error from Curtis Jones and Yann Bisseck. The goal moved Mbappé into a tie with Raúl for all-time scoring marks at the club. Federico Valverde added a second goal before the half-hour mark when he intercepted an attempted Cruyff turn from goalkeeper Josep Martínez. While Real Madrid struggled defensively during the opening period, Thibaut Courtois made several saves to keep the scoreline in the hosts' favor. The match continues at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Inter currently trailing by two goals.
