LA 2028 Olympic torch relay to start in Atlanta and visit all 50 states

The LA 2028 Olympic torch relay will mark the first time the event visits all 50 states, beginning in Atlanta in spring 2028. The Olympic Flame will be lit in Olympia, Greece, before arriving in the U.S. The complete torch route and nomination process for torchbearers will be unveiled in 2027. The LA Paralympic torch relay will commence after the Olympics, with the Paralympic Flame starting in Stoke Mandeville, England. In preparation for the Games, six million tickets have already been sold, with additional sales expected next year as part of the lead-up to the event.
