LA Rams arrive in Melbourne for season opener against San Francisco 49ers

Summary

The Los Angeles Rams arrived in Melbourne on Thursday morning ahead of their regular-season game against the San Francisco 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The team plans to spend approximately 36 hours in Australia before departing on Friday, following an unusual travel schedule designed to maintain California-based rhythms. While the San Francisco 49ers have been in the country for over a week, coach Sean McVay expressed confidence that the accelerated itinerary will allow his players to remain fresh for the kickoff. Receiver Davante Adams noted that the team made limited time for local activities despite public criticism regarding their brief presence. The Rams and San Francisco 49ers will meet at the 100,000-seat venue to begin the new NFL season.
