LA28 to launch volunteer applications on July 14 for Olympics

LA28 will begin accepting applications for Games-time volunteer positions on July 14, 2026. The volunteer program aims to recruit around 60,000 individuals for both the Olympics and Paralympics scheduled for 2028 in the U.S., the first since the 1996 Atlanta Games. Interested applicants can sign up for updates and will be required to commit to at least 10 shifts. Volunteers will assist in various capacities, welcoming spectators, guiding athletes, and offering specialized services like medical or language translation help. There will also be opportunities for roles outside California, including locations in Oklahoma City and other soccer venues across the country.
