The Lakeland Lakers youth lacrosse program, initiated in June 2025, seeks to enhance lacrosse participation in Polk County. Led by head boys lacrosse coach Zac Brownlee, the program features recreational opportunities for various age groups and focuses on developing fundamental skills. Coaches with strong backgrounds from Central New York contribute to the foundation. Sessions are set to begin in early October, culminating in a tournament in Plant City, Florida on November 6-7.
