Lakers assign Cameron Carr to Coachella Valley Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers announced the assignment of Cameron Carr to the Coachella Valley Lakers on October 28, 2026. The move comes as the team prepares for a demanding schedule featuring five games in seven days, limiting practice opportunities. Carr is continuing his recovery from an oblique injury, and the assignment will allow him to gain valuable playing time. The decision was discussed by JJ Redick, who emphasized the importance of Carr getting work in despite the busy slate.
