Lakers consider trade for VJ Edgecombe in three-team proposal

The Los Angeles Lakers are exploring a three-team trade that could bring VJ Edgecombe from the Philadelphia 76ers, according to a recent proposal. In exchange, the Sixers would receive Bronny James, Adou Theiro, a 2027 first-round pick from the Charlotte Hornets, and a second-round pick from the Lakers. The Hornets would send Cameron Carr and Dalton Knecht to the Lakers. This trade idea arises as the Lakers aim to manage their roster following LeBron James' departure to the 76ers. Edgecombe, who averaged 16 points per game in his rookie season, may face a reduced role in Philadelphia, prompting speculation about his future.
