Lakers considering sign-and-trade of LeBron James for Jarrett Allen

The Los Angeles Lakers are exploring a sign-and-trade deal that would send LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for center Jarrett Allen. With James entering free agency after the 2025-26 season, the Lakers see Allen as a vital addition to address their need for a top-level center. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst indicated that if both parties agree, the Lakers would be eager to make the trade.
