Lakers face roster decisions on Dalton Knecht ahead of training camp

The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing for training camp as preseason approaches. Dalton Knecht's future with the team remains uncertain after an unsuccessful trade deadline attempt to the Charlotte Hornets. Analysts suggest Knecht's role may be diminished, especially with the arrival of new players at his position. The Lakers need to finalize their roster, leaving Knecht's potential cut as a possibility before the season starts. Analysts point out the lack of discussions regarding his role during media events as a significant indicator of his standing.
