Lakers guarantee Bronny James' future following LeBron's departure

The LA Lakers have ensured Bronny James' place on their roster with a fully guaranteed contract worth $2.3 million. This decision comes as LeBron James, Bronny’s father, enters free agency after concluding an eight-season career with the Lakers at age 41. LeBron's departure opens the door for Bronny, who averaged 2.7 points in 8.1 minutes during his two seasons with the team, to take on a larger role. Lakers coach JJ Redick noted Bronny's improvement, signaling confidence in his ability to contribute as the team shifts focus after LeBron’s exit.
