Lakers guard Chris Mañon aims to improve three key skills for 2026-27
Summary

As the 2026-27 NBA season approaches, Los Angeles Lakers guard Chris Mañon is set to focus on three critical goals. After struggling with 3-point shooting last season, where he only made 31.5% of attempts in the G League and missed all three in the NBA, he aims to enhance his shooting percentage. Mañon, known for his defensive tenacity, will also look to contribute offensively in various ways, including cutting to the basket and transitioning quickly. His performance during the summer league showed promise, particularly in a game against the Chicago Bulls where he scored 16 points. Additionally, Mañon plans to model his game after former Laker Alex Caruso, who successfully transitioned into a two-way player.
